Here at Discovery we have a dedicated staff team with years of experience in the early years. We champion helping our children to grow and develop to get them ready for school.

ABOUT OUR STAFF

MARY – NURSERY MANAGER

I have worked for the company since 2004 and have worked my way up from a Trainee Nursery Nurse to the Manager with a degree in education. In my spare time I look after my three puppies and I like to craft.

APRIL – DEPUTY MANAGER

I am level 3 nursery nurse and Discovery’s deputy manager, I have worked in childcare since leaving school in 2014. I enjoy helping children reach their best outcomes. I have a girl aged 3 and enjoy going to the beach and spending lots of time together.

EMMA – NURSERY NURSE

I am level 3 qualified and have been working in childcare since 2023. I really enjoy working with the children and watching them achieve their goals.  I also like to support other staff with SEN children.

AFIYA –  NURSERY NURSE

I am a level 2 qualified nursery nurse working towards level 3. I enjoy being a one to one teacher for our children with SEND. Helping them reach their potential, targets and helping them to be more comfortable at nursery.

JANE – NURSERY LUNCH SUPERVISOR

I am the lunch time assistant and have been working for the company for 17 years. I have a good bond with the children and we have great fun together.
